High School

Our High School’s academic program is designed to provide a challenging, dynamic educational experience with an interactive curriculum that is delivered in small class sizes.  Imani assists each student in preparing for their post-graduate experience.  Students focus on mastering their writing, reasoning, and STEM skills in order to be fully prepared for the academic rigor and challenges of post-secondary education.

Students who choose a career that requires a four-year college degree work closely with our counselors to help them choose the best college fit, assist with finding scholarships, aid in maneuvering through the application process, and coordinate college visits and tours throughout the year.

Some students will choose an alternative or trade career path.  Therefore, we provide exposure and training to a variety of alternative careers beginning in the Sixth Grade.

Middle School

A positive Middle School experience is critical in a student’s development of the essential skills and disciplines needed to succeed.  Imani offers an environment that is both structured and supportive and the small class size allows for individual attention.

The Middle School is also when as students begin to expand their understanding of basic academic principles and start to develop their individual talents and interests. The program offers a safe and supportive learning environment where students can experiment, explore and engage with the world.

Elementary School

Imani’s Elementary School curriculum is designed to encourage life-long curiosity and exploration by making learning an engaging process through hands-on experiences.  Small class sizes ensure a close relationship between students and teachers and the ability to offer personal attention to each individual’s needs.

From Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, students spend a majority of the school day with their homeroom teacher.  Subjects include math, science, social studies, and language arts, in addition to a variety of math and reading enrichment activities.  They also take part in daily recess period and physical education classes.  Various offsite activities and field trips are scheduled throughout the year.

Pre-K

Imani’s Pre-Kindergarten, a licensed Private Academic School by the Pennsylvania Board of Education, offers an all day learning experience in a secure, safe, and inspiring environment for children between the ages of 3-5 years old.

Children are introduced to traditional preschool activities in an environment that highlights the importance of play as the child’s main form of learning.  Imani Christian Academy will provide your child with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed academically within a nurturing, faith-based environment.

In order to encourage interaction with peers and adults in the classroom, the Pre-K class is well-equipped with learning areas that encourage both interaction and independence.  Students discover subjects through the use of art, science, blocks, library time, manipulatives, sand and water, and computers.  The curriculum for the Pre-K program is designed to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and beyond.
